We just spend the weekend camping with some friends of ours and we had a great time. It was Adalyn's first time "roughin' it" and she definitely approves of the outdoors. She spent most of her time trying to eat her surroundings... dirt and rocks. Cooper had a great time running around all day with his friend Taya and just being a boy. We enjoyed the hammock, ate good food, enjoyed campfire chit-chat, and made s'mores. Cooper seemed to get completely wired at night and had a hard time settling down to sleep (it was too much fun to jump on the air mattress in the tent!) but we enjoyed ourselves quite a bit. Adalyn is always full of smiles, but it is pretty hard to get her to laugh outloud. She is a very happy baby, but I guess she's just a little shy about letting her big belly laughs out. However, Cooper has a way of getting it out of her. She LOVES her big brother and he knows just how to push her buttons to get her laughing really well. It's adorable to watch - so we thought you might like a peek at the buzzy buzzy bee...

Adalyn is FULL of smiles these days, and it is so much fun! Her smile, as you can see is pretty contagious. And although she hasn't quite learned to laugh, her smiles get SO big sometimes that we think she is going to burst out in laughter at any minute. She is pure joy. We got the kids dressed up for church this morning. It was Cooper's first time wearing a white shirt and tie, and Adalyn wore a white dress. Baby Adalyn has arrived! Tuesday, March 20 was a great day. I chose to go ahead and be induced and boy was it great! Eric and I went to the hospital at 7 am, got comfy, I was started on a pitocin drip at 8 am and Adalyn came out to greet us at 4:33 pm. She weighed in exactly the same as her big brother at 8 lbs 11 oz, but beat Cooper in length by a 1/2 inch at 22 inches long. She is healthy and happy, and absolutely perfect in our eyes. Labor and Delivery was a breeze and I had a wonderful epidural which made life even better. Adalyn has such a sweet spirit and we are so blessed to welcome her into our family.
